James Gillenwater '12, former US rugby team captain, describes his work introducing children from a Durham Boys and Girls Club to the sport. Gillenwater's volunteer project was funded by a Schweitzer fellowship, given to students who conceptualize and carry out service projects that address the unmet health-related needs of underserved individuals and communities.
