arbitragem aos molhos #11

#1
holofotes sobre os árbitros

Recomendo vivamente a leitura deste artigo, duro e exagerado mas com fundo de verdade nalguns pontos:

"Prior to a World Cup, there is an armistice of a year or two where the laws of the game don't change. Theoretically this is good as you would think there was some consistency for players, coaches and fans. The system, however, has this lovely aspect to it that allows for “interpretation” of the laws. This is where it can get a little muddy."

"And it is something we'll talk to the referee about at the breakdown.
"With someone like Jonathan Kaplan, he is a world-class referee so we just hope he allows us the opportunity to get quick ball.
"We need to be accurate at the breakdown ourselves on attack but if we do get our chance to get quick ball, it gives us a chance to keep the ball in hand and to play some attacking rugby.
"That will be a key focus for us and we will be talking to the referee about hopefully getting his cooperation in that area."

“If SANZAR is serious about having a merit system for its whistle blowers”, he said, “then it’s time to give Jonathan Kaplan a rest.”

#2
mais mellée

Dados das duas primeiras jornadas do 6 nations:

Round 2

England vs Italy: 5 scrums, 1 reset, 3 collapses, 1 penalty
Scotland vs Wales: 11 scrums, 6 resets, 10 collapses, 3 penalties, 2 free kicks
Ireland vs France: 20 scrums, 5 resets, 14 collapses, 3 penalties, 2 free kicks

Totals: 36 scrums, 12 resets, 27 collapses, 7 penalties, 4 free kicks

This week there were fewer scrums but more resets and more collapses. Penalties and free kicks are down; does that mean that fewer penalties means more resets?

France vs Scotland: 14 scrums, 3 resets, 9 collapses, 4 penalties, 4 free kicks

Totals: 42 scrums, 5 resets, 26 collapses, 13 penalties, 7 free kicks, 1 penalty try

arbitragem aos molhos #9 - SCRUM

A formação ordenada anda mesmo na ordem do dia...
Seguem uma série de artigos sobre mellée:

Estive a fazer contas,

Estatísticas do 6 Nations (1st Round):

Wales vs England

Wales
Scrums: 8 (2 reset, 4 collapses, 1 lost, 1 penalty)

England
Scrums: 6 (0 reset, 2 collapses, 2 penalties, 2 free kicks)

Italy vs Ireland

Italy
Scrums: 10 (3 reset, 8 collapses, 4 penalties, 5 free kicks)

Ireland
Scrums: 4 (0 reset, 1 collapses)

France vs Scotland

France
Scrums: 5 (2 reset, 5 collapses, 1 free kick, 2 penalties, 1 penalty try)

Scotland
Scrums: 9 (1 reset, 5 collapses, 1 lost, 4 penalties, 1 free kick)
